What is French Roast?
French Roast is a dark roast style characterized by beans roasted until they develop a deep brown color with a slight sheen of natural oils. At this roast level, the beans develop rich, caramelized sugars and bold roasted flavors while maintaining smoothness and body.

Expect a full-bodied, bold cup with deep roasted notes, hints of dark chocolate and caramel, and subtle smokiness. Low acidity makes it exceptionally smooth and easy on the stomach. This is classic dark roast, done right, intense but never bitter.
